Dr. Néstor Giménez Honored as 2026 Distinguished Citizen of Coronel Suárez

Doctor Néstor Antonio Giménez was named the 2026 Ciudadano Destacado (Distinguished Citizen) of Coronel Suárez during the city’s 144th‑anniversary gala. The ceremony, held on 5 August at the Teatro Italia, was hosted by municipal mayor Ricardo Moccero, who highlighted Giménez’s more than six decades of service to public and private health in the district.

The event also recognized other local figures, including footballer Alexis Steimbach as Deportista Destacado, musician Nicolás Navarro as Joven Destacado, and trombonist Leandro Loos as Destacado Cultural, with special mentions awarded to several community contributors.
