Dr. Pitágoras receives municipal medal and launches Bahia campaign

Dr. Pitágoras, a physician and former mayor of Candeias, has received the Medalha 14 de Agosto in recognition of his public service. The honor was presented by the Candeias Municipal Chamber during celebrations marking the city's 68th anniversary of political and administrative emancipation.

The award, formalized through Resolution No. 621/2026, was proposed by Councilman Rosevaldo Adorno and received broad support from other legislators. Dr. Pitágoras served two terms as mayor of the municipality.

In addition to the recognition, Dr. Pitágoras has officially launched his campaign for the Bahia State Assembly. He held a campaign event in the center of Candeias, utilizing the number 11111, which he previously used during his first election as a councilman. He stated that starting his campaign in Candeias is significant as it is the location where his political and professional history began.
