Dr. Praveen Gupta honored with Excellence in Neurology award at ET Health Conclave

Dr. Praveen Gupta, Chairman of the Marengo Asia International Institute of Neuro & Spine (MAIINS) and Marengo Asia Hospitals in Gurugram, received the Excellence in Neurology award at the ET Health Conclave 2026. The ceremony was held on 26 July in New Delhi in collaboration with The Economic Times and marked his second such recognition after 2024.

Gupta was cited for pioneering work that includes Asia’s first deep‑brain stimulation, the continent’s first mechanical thrombectomy, and leading India’s largest series of stem‑cell transplants for multiple sclerosis. His team also employs AI‑enabled tools to maintain patient contact after discharge, supporting an integrated neurosciences model that unites neurologists, neurosurgeons, rehabilitation specialists and allied professionals. The Conclave highlighted themes such as AI‑driven smart hospitals, genomics and precision healthcare, with Gupta speaking on advances in stroke care and neurorehabilitation.
