Dr. Wang Zheng-kun discusses medical aesthetics and clinic management

Dr. Wang Zheng-kun, Chairman of the Yi-Qun Medical Aesthetic Group, recently participated in two major medical seminars in Taiwan, addressing both clinical advancements and medical business management.

At the Autumn Academic Seminar of the Chinese Medical Association of Aesthetic Medicine in Taipei, Dr. Wang led discussions on multi-layered facial rejuvenation strategies. The sessions focused on the clinical applications of poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) for tissue stimulation, low-cross-linked hyaluronic acid for skin texture and glow, and the use of botulinum toxin for facial lifting through muscle tension regulation.

In a separate seminar for colorectal surgeons in Tainan, Dr. Wang shared insights on clinic operations and survival strategies within Taiwan's challenging healthcare landscape. He highlighted the pressures of National Health Insurance (NHI) budget limits, regulatory constraints, and rising costs. Dr. Wang advised physicians to transition from specialized 'I-shaped' practitioners to 'T-shaped' professionals who possess management, financial, and leadership skills. He emphasized that successful clinic growth relies on efficiency, differentiation, and scaling, noting that his own group has expanded to 23 clinics and a skincare brand, serving over 5 million patients.
