Dr. Zhao Shuyi clarifies identity of new Taichung orthopedic clinic

Dr. Zhao Shuyi has issued a formal clarification regarding rumors that a new medical facility in Taichung’s Feng Chia area is being opened by Zhao Jianming, the former husband of Chen Hsing-yu. The facility, named ‘Good Orthopedic Clinic’ (骨得診所), is a sole proprietorship established by Dr. Zhao Shuyi, a graduate of National Cheng Kung University who previously practiced in Tainan.

The confusion arose because the clinic’s name is identical to a clinic previously operated by Zhao Jianming, and recruitment advertisements used the title ‘Dr. Zhao’ for privacy reasons. Dr. Zhao Shuyi clarified on social media that he does not know Zhao Jianming and that the clinic’s name was chosen as a play on the word ‘GOOD.’

The clinic is located in the Xitun District and is scheduled to provide orthopedic, pain management, and regenerative medicine services. The building itself has previously been the subject of local news due to a rental dispute involving a former tenant.
