Dracevo begins reconstruction of Crn Kanal drainage channel

Reconstruction of the ‘Crn Kanal’ atmospheric drainage channel is underway in Dracevo, spanning from Malesevska 1 Street to the Mala Rada locality. The project aims to improve the atmospheric water drainage system and mitigate flood risks.

According to Kisela Voda Mayor Beti Stamenkoska-Trajkoska, approximately 50 percent of the first phase of activities has been completed. Current works include the remediation of the concrete bed along the entire channel. Additionally, concrete blocks are being installed on the section leading to the Kiro Fetak bridge to serve as a stable foundation for a new pedestrian walkway above the channel.

The investment is being implemented as part of the ‘Hungarian Credit – Projects Phase 2’ program, supported by the government in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning.
