Drag Race España season 6 to premiere on Atresplayer

The sixth season of ‘Drag Race España’ is set to premiere on September 27 on Atresplayer. The new season features a revamped set and workshop, new mechanics, and a diverse cast, including the first ‘drag king’ in the show’s history, Marcus Massalami.

Designer and judge Ana Locking highlighted the program’s social importance, noting its ability to bring drag culture into mainstream spaces like theaters and galleries. She emphasized that the show serves as a tool to challenge rising far-right discourses regarding gender and identity, providing visibility and acceptance for the LGBTQ+ community.

The judging panel remains consistent, featuring Los Javis and Ana Locking.
