Dragan Gagi Ranitović, prominent Serbian singer, passes away

Dragan Gagi Ranitović, a well-known singer from Kraljevo, has passed away at the age of 68 following a short illness. He was a long-time vocalist for the popular group ‘Oaza’ and was recognized for his ability to perform across various musical genres, including ballads, rock, and folk music.

Ranitović gained wider television recognition in 2016 when he participated in the first season of the competition ‘Nikad nije kasno’. Throughout his career, he maintained a deep connection to his hometown of Kraljevo, often describing himself as an ‘emotional fool tied to Kraljevo’.
