Dragana Jović faces extortion charges in Ontario over $50,000 demand

Dragana Jović, a former contestant on the Serbian talent show Zvezda Granda, has been charged in the Ontario Criminal Court with extorting Canadian businessmen of Serbian origin. According to court documents, she threatened to release intimate videos of the victims' spouses unless she received $50,000. The businessman initially paid $10,000 on March 1, and Jović later demanded an additional $40,000, which was paid by early April 2024.

Jović was released on bail after posting a $500 deposit and was ordered to stay away from the victims and refrain from distributing the videos. The case remains ongoing, with the court awaiting further proceedings.
