Dragon Ball DAIMA to premiere on Italia 2

The anime series Dragon Ball DAIMA is set to premiere on the Italian television channel Italia 2 starting Monday, September 14. The series, which represents the final work overseen by the late Akira Toriyama, will air every Monday at 22:00 with two consecutive episodes.

Chronologically, the story takes place after the events of Dragon Ball Z and before Dragon Ball SUPER. The plot follows Goku and his allies after they are unexpectedly transformed into children due to a wish made to the dragon Shenron. The antagonist, Gomah, seeks to consolidate power in the Demon Realm and has kidnapped Dende, the Guardian of Earth, to prevent the Dragon Balls from being used to reverse the transformation. To find a solution, Goku, Vegeta, and Kaioshin must infiltrate the Demon Realm to locate an ancient second set of Dragon Balls, meeting new allies such as Glorio and Panzy along the way.

While the series originally aired in Japan on Fuji TV between October 2024 and February 2025, this broadcast marks its Italian debut with full Italian dubbing.
