Dragon Ball Super: Beerus anime details and card game expansion announced

The upcoming anime series Dragon Ball Super: Beerus is generating new merchandise and production details. An exclusive expansion for the Dragon Ball Super Card Game: Fusion World, titled ‘Reach the God’, is scheduled for release on December 12, focusing on the new series.

Regarding the anime production, rumors suggest the series may consist of approximately 19 to 20 episodes, potentially offering a more condensed retelling of early events such as the Beerus arc and the Golden Freeza saga. While Toei Animation has not officially confirmed the episode count, the project is described as an ‘enhanced’ edition featuring new scenes, updated rendering, re-recorded dubbing, and revised soundtracks to modernize Akira Toriyama’s universe. The series is expected to premiere in Japan during the final quarter of 2026.
