Dragon Ball Super: Beerus announced as enhanced remake

Toei Animation has unveiled Dragon Ball Super: Beerus, an enhanced and reconstructed version of the original 2015 anime series. The remake features visual remastering, new camera angles, impressive visual effects, and a remastered soundtrack.

A primary focus of the production is the redemption of the infamous battle between Goku and Beerus. Originally aired in Episode 5 of the 2015 series, the sequence faced heavy criticism for its animation quality. The new version aims to deliver the visual standard fans expected, incorporating the showdown much earlier in the series timeline.

The production covers the narrative arc from the arrival of Beerus through the confrontation between Universes 6 and 7. This version is presented as a condensed and improved edition of the Battle of Gods storyline, intended to revitalize the franchise for both returning fans and new viewers.
