Dragon Ball Super: Beerus arrives on HBO Max with enhanced animation

An enhanced version of Dragon Ball Super, titled Dragon Ball Super: Beerus, has arrived on HBO Max. Produced by Toei Animation and based on the creative vision of Akira Toriyama, this edition features renewed animation and updated visual resources to refresh the viewing experience.

The series revisits the pivotal confrontation between Goku and the God of Destruction, Beerus. Set after the battle with Majin Boo, the story follows Beerus as he awakens from a long slumber to seek out the Saiyan capable of defeating Frieza. New episodes are scheduled to be released weekly on Fridays.

Beerus is characterized by a diverse and formidable arsenal of abilities beyond mere physical strength. His signature technique, Hakai (Destruction), allows him to erase targets entirely from existence, though it is noted that the technique may not work on truly immortal beings.
