Dragon Ball Super: Beerus to receive enhanced anime release
Toei Animation is producing an enhanced version of the anime series titled ‘Dragon Ball Super: Beerus’. This project aims to provide a higher quality experience than the original 2015 series by implementing improved animation, new footage, a reconstructed narrative, and updated sound and music to more closely align with Akira Toriyama’s original manga style.
The series is scheduled to begin its simulcast in Japan on October 11, 2026. Crunchyroll has secured the rights to stream the subtitled version in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, with new episodes arriving weekly.
Additionally, reports indicate the series may be available on other platforms, including a potential October 16 release on HBO Max and availability on Netflix, though specific regional availability for the Americas has not been officially confirmed.
