Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 announced for 2027 release

Bandai Namco has officially announced Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3, which was showcased for the first time at gamescom 2026. The game is set to release in 2027 and takes place in the year 1000, approximately 148 years after the events of the previous installment.

Key features include enhanced character customization and the introduction of a new Cyborg class. Players can choose from various races, including Saiyan, Namekian, Majin, and the Freezer Clan, with more flexibility in developing individual combat styles. The game features a central hub in West City, a living environment where players can interact with others online, complete quests, and discover collectibles known as Mystipix.

While the gameplay maintains a familiar feel for fans of the previous title, the new era emphasizes personal character progression and exploration within a more detailed urban setting.
