Dragon film starring Jr NTR scheduled for June 2027 release

The production of the upcoming film ‘Dragon’, a collaboration between actor Jr NTR and director Prashanth Neel, is officially scheduled for a release on June 11, 2027. Despite recent concerns regarding production delays, producer Ravi Shankar Yellamanchili of Mythri Movie Makers has clarified that speculation about timeline disruptions is unfounded.

Production faced potential setbacks due to an injury sustained by Jr NTR, which required surgical intervention and a recommended six-week rest period. To mitigate delays, director Prashanth Neel is currently organizing the filming of sequences that do not require the lead actor. The production team aims to complete filming by the end of the year to allow sufficient time for editing and post-production.

The film marks the Telugu cinema debut of Rukmini Vasanth and is expected to feature large-scale action sequences characteristic of Neel’s directorial style.
