Dragon Quest celebrates anniversaries with new food and merchandise
To celebrate the 5th anniversary of the ‘Dragon Quest Island’ attraction and the 40th anniversary of the ‘Dragon Quest’ series, several commemorative offerings are being released in Japan.
Nijigen no Mori, the operator of the Awaji Island anime park, will launch a limited-edition ‘Medal Croquette Box’ on September 18, 2026. The menu item features croquettes served in a specially designed box depicting a secret treasure chest. The food will be available at the Leuda’s Tavern within the Dragon Quest Island area.
Additionally, the apparel brand Graniph has announced additional pre-orders for its ‘Dragon Quest DQ+g’ collaboration collection, starting September 18 at 10:00 AM. Following high demand that caused connectivity issues on their online store, the expanded lineup includes 13 items such as King Slime zip-up hoodies, ‘Gan Gan Ikouze’ T-shirts, and adventure-themed bags. Customers spending over 7,700 yen will receive a limited-edition acrylic keychain on a first-come, first-served basis.
