Dragon Quest franchise expands with new titles and HD remake

The Dragon Quest franchise is expanding its presence with new releases and remakes. The spin-off title Dragon Quest Monsters: Die welkende Welt is set to launch on December 3, featuring turn-based combat and a monster synthesis system where players can crossbreed creatures to create unique variants. The game follows protagonists Bianca and Nera as they navigate the Kingdom of Immerwelk to resolve a conflict between two giant eagles.

Additionally, the classic 1993 title Dragon Quest Heroes: Torneko’s Mystery Dungeon –Classic HD– has received its first release outside of Japan. This HD remake is available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The roguelike adventure follows the character Torneko as he explores dungeons to expand his item shop, featuring updated graphics and improved gameplay comfort.
