Dragonland Announces October 2026 'Prophecies' Album Release

Swedish symphonic power‑metal band Dragonland has issued the first single, “Survival Of Mankind,” from their upcoming seventh studio album, Prophecies. The album is scheduled for release on 23 October 2026 through Scarlet Records and will be available as a digipack CD, limited‑edition vinyl (marbled blue and transparent blue‑yellow splatter), and digital formats.

Prophecies was produced by veteran metal producer Fredrik Nordström at Studio Fredman and features a 12‑track lineup that revisits the band’s classic fantasy themes while exploring new lyrical territory. The lineup includes vocalist Jonas Heidgert, guitarist Jesse Lindskog, keyboardist Elias Holmlid, bassist Anders Hammer and drummer Johan Nunez. The release follows the recent departure of longtime guitarist Olof Mörck, who contributed a previously unreleased track recorded in 2013.

The announcement highlights the album’s elaborate orchestration, fast riffing and epic melodies, aiming to deliver a “hard‑hitting and meticulously crafted symphonic power‑metal journey.”
