Dragons’ Den features guest judge Jenna Meek and teen entrepreneur Caleb Slater

The BBC series Dragons’ Den featured guest judge Jenna Meek, the co-founder of REFY and founder of the beauty brand Shrine. Meek, who previously worked for brands including Burberry and Hugo Boss, expressed that appearing on the show had been a long-held professional goal.

In another segment, 18-year-old entrepreneur Caleb Slater pitched his business, Cards for Cash, which allows users to sell unwanted gift cards. Slater sought £50,000 for a 10% stake in his company, noting that an estimated £480 million worth of gift cards expire unused annually. While the dragons raised concerns regarding his low profit margins, Steven Bartlett provided a significant offer to the entrepreneur.
