Sarajevo hosts major Fis Gol Cup small‑football tournament

The Fis Gol Cup, one of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s most prestigious malonogomet (small‑football) events, opened in Sarajevo with 32 senior teams, 16 veterans and youth sides. Organisers highlighted the participation of clubs from Montenegro, Serbia, Croatia and Brazil and a prize fund of 23 000 KM.

Around the same weekend, other regional small‑football tournaments concluded. In Jezerišće, Croatia, SAK Varjačić won the 16th Mininogometni tournament despite heavy rain. In Stolac, Bosnia, the team “Dragoslav Dragi Raguž” triumphed 6‑1 over LED Display in the “Stolac 2026” final. Grude’s “Grudsko ljeto 2026” saw Adeo retain the senior title after a 5‑3 win. In Podstrana, Croatia, the tournament entered its semifinals with senior clubs Home Construction Podstrana and SV Josip Dugi Rat contesting a derby.

These events illustrate the vibrant grassroots football scene across Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia, drawing local fans and fostering community sport.
