Drake and Don Toliver's 'Solar Eclipse' projected for top 5 Billboard debut

Drake and Don Toliver’s collaboration “Solar Eclipse” is projected to debut at number 5 on the Billboard Hot 100. The track is featured on the deluxe edition of Drake’s project, HABIBTI (FOMO), which was released on October 2.

The song utilizes an interpolation of Ella Langley’s country hit “Choosin’ Texas,” incorporating its melody and cadence into a new aesthetic. If the projected chart position holds, it will mark Don Toliver’s first top 5 hit and Drake’s 48th top 5 entry on the Hot 100.

“Solar Eclipse” has already reached the number 1 spot on US Apple Music. The deluxe expansion of the album increases the tracklist from 11 to 15 songs, including other collaborations such as “Cold Shoulder” featuring Don Toliver and Yebba.
