Drake announces 2027 world tour and sets RIAA record

Rapper Drake has confirmed plans for a world tour in 2027. The announcement followed the September 15 premiere of his hour-long visual project, ‘FOMO’, which featured unreleased music and footage from his personal life.

In addition to the tour news, Drake has become the first artist to surpass 350 million RIAA-certified units, making him the most certified artist of all time. He also holds the record for the highest number of diamond plaques, with 18 to date. Recent certifications include diamond status for ‘VIEWS’, ‘In My Feelings’, and ‘Marvin’s Room’, while ‘God’s Plan’ has reached double-diamond status.

The milestones come as the artist prepares to celebrate his 40th birthday. His recent musical output includes the May release of three studio albums: ‘Iceman’, ‘Habibti’, and ‘Maid of Honour’.
