Drake announces YouTube livestream for mysterious ‘FOMO’ project

Drake has announced a YouTube livestream for his upcoming project, titled ‘Fear of Missing Out’ (FOMO), scheduled for September 15, 2026, at 9:00 PM EST. The announcement, made via social media with a black-and-white graphic, includes island and Ferris wheel emojis but provides no specific details regarding the nature of the content.

Speculation among fans and industry observers suggests the project could be a new album, a tour announcement, a music video, or a visual documentary. If FOMO is a musical release, it would mark Drake’s fourth major project of 2026, following the simultaneous release of the ‘ICEMAN’, ‘HABIBTI’, and ‘MAID OF HONOUR’ trilogy in May. That earlier rollout saw Drake become the most-streamed artist on Spotify in a single day.

Clues supporting a musical release include recent social media posts featuring imagery of a CD jewel case and the involvement of producers London Cyr and B4uuuuuuuuu, who have worked on his recent projects. Additionally, a recent video snippet of Drake performing a smooth R&B-style track at a venue has further fueled rumors of new music.
