Rapper Drake celebrated his 40th birthday with an extravagant event at Casa Cipriani in New York City. The celebration, attended by over 400 guests, featured a surprise performance by the Backstreet Boys, where Drake joined them to sing “I Want It That Way.” The event included high-end giveaways such as Chanel and Hermès handbags, as well as a game show offering cash prizes of up to $1 million.

Coinciding with his birthday, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) announced that Drake has become the first artist to surpass 350 million certified units. This milestone includes 30 new certifications, bringing his total to 18 Diamond plaques—the highest number achieved by any artist. Notable achievements in this batch include the album “Views” and the singles “In My Feelings” and “Marvins Room” reaching Diamond status, while “God’s Plan” was certified Double Diamond.
