Drake Circus celebrates 20th anniversary in Plymouth

Drake Circus in Plymouth is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a Wonderland-themed weekend from Saturday, October 3, to Monday, October 5. The event marks the beginning of a year-long program of celebratory activities at the shopping centre.

During the weekend, the centre will feature Alice in Wonderland-inspired decorations, character meet-and-greets, themed trails, and various family activities including craft workshops and storytelling. Live performances, such as samba bands and stilt walkers, are scheduled to take place within the centre and in Old Town Square.

On Monday, October 5, the centre will host a large-scale giveaway with prizes including shopping vouchers, dining experiences, and festival tickets offered every hour between 10 am and 4 pm. Greg Lumley, centre director, described the milestone as a celebration of the families, shoppers, retailers, and local partners who have shaped the centre over the past two decades.
