Drake Maye leads New England Patriots resurgence

New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye has overcome a difficult start to the 2026 season to lead his team back to a winning record. After struggling through the first three weeks with six interceptions and a lost fumble, Maye has regained the form that saw him finish second in the 2025 MVP voting.

Following a comeback victory against the Buffalo Bills, Maye has improved his decision-making and increased his mobility. His resurgence has helped the Patriots move past an early-season offensive slump that saw them rank among the league's lowest-scoring teams.
