Drake Maye leads Patriots resurgence ahead of Raiders matchup

New England Patriots quarterback Drake Maye has seen a significant resurgence following a standout Week 4 performance. After struggling through the first three weeks of the season, Maye led the Patriots to a 29-26 victory over the Buffalo Bills, throwing for 269 yards and three touchdowns while adding 54 rushing yards. This performance earned him AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors.

Looking ahead to Week 5, the Patriots are scheduled to host the Las Vegas Raiders at Gillette Stadium. The team's injury report remains extensive, listing 15 players, including starting cornerbacks Christian Gonzalez and Carlton Davis III. However, Maye was listed as a full participant in practice despite a reported right shoulder issue.

Off the field, Maye drew attention for expressing skepticism regarding the moon landing during a radio interview, a comment that prompted a response from NASA administrator Jared Isaacman. In terms of fantasy football, Maye's recent high-scoring output has shifted his outlook from a struggling starter to a high-value option.
