Drake performs songs from ‘Iceman’ during Don Toliver Toronto concert
Drake made a surprise appearance during Don Toliver’s concert at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto on Monday, August 31. The appearance featured the first live performances of several tracks from Drake’s latest album, ‘Iceman’.
During the set, Drake performed “Shabang”, “Burning Bridges”, and “Janice STFU”. Addressing the crowd, Drake noted it was his first time performing songs from the new album live. The two artists, who share ties to Houston, also acknowledged their connection to Toronto, which Drake referred to as “the greatest city in the world”.
The collaboration is notable as Don Toliver is signed to Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack Records. The appearance comes amid previous rumors regarding potential friction between Drake and Travis Scott, though the performance suggests a continued professional connection between the artists and the Cactus Jack label.
