Drake praises Ella Langley's songwriting ability

Rapper Drake has publicly praised country singer Ella Langley, calling her songwriting ability a “Goated pen” in an Instagram comment. The endorsement followed a TikTok video posted by Langley, in which she lip-synced to the 2011 Drake and Lil Wayne hit “HYFR (Hell Ya F–king Right).”

Langley, whose song “Choosin’ Texas” has spent 18 weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, has previously collaborated with rapper BigXthaPlug on the platinum-certified track “Hell at Night.” Fans have since expressed significant interest in a potential collaboration between the two artists.

Langley is currently on her Dandelion Tour and recently released her sophomore album, Dandelion, which reached the top of the Billboard 200.
