Drake to finance new album from Toronto artist K-Os

Toronto rapper and singer K-Os is preparing to release his first full-length album in over a decade. The upcoming project is being financed by Drake and managed by Matte Babel, the Chief Brand Officer at DreamCrew.

K-Os recently released a new single titled “Guns & Roses,” which features a sound reminiscent of his acclaimed 2004 album, “Joyful Rebellion.” This marks his first major musical output since 2015’s “Can’t Fly Without Gravity.”

The collaboration highlights a long-standing relationship between the two artists that dates back nearly twenty years. K-Os noted that Drake’s involvement is a supportive gesture, stating that the mogul provided the funds to ensure he could create a true “K-Os record.” The two previously collaborated on the track “Faith” in the early 2010s.
