Tommy Gantt submits Drakkar Klose at UFC Noche

Tommy Gantt improved his professional record to 13-0 following a dominant performance against veteran Drakkar Klose at UFC Noche in Glendale, Arizona. Gantt utilized his wrestling background to control the lightweight bout, repeatedly pinning Klose against the fence and landing strikes throughout the first two rounds.

In the third round, Gantt secured a takedown and transitioned to Klose's back. After landing elbows from a dominant position, Gantt locked in a reverse triangle choke, forcing Klose to tap out at the 2:46 mark. This victory marks the first time Klose has been submitted in his career and moves Gantt to 2-0 within the UFC.

Prior to the bout, Klose had expressed confidence in a stoppage victory, noting his recent recovery from a shoulder injury that required surgery. He had intended to use a more aggressive, ‘dirty’ fighting style to counter Gantt’s wrestling, but was ultimately overcome by Gantt’s grappling dominance.
