Drakkar Klose prepares for Noche UFC return against Tommy Gantt

Drakkar Klose is set to return to the octagon at Noche UFC in Phoenix following a year-long recovery from a torn shoulder. The injury occurred during his August 2025 victory over Edson Barboza and required surgery performed by a surgeon for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Klose will face newcomer Tommy Gantt in the lightweight division. While Klose admitted to having limited knowledge of Gantt’s professional MMA background, he noted that Gantt trains with Daniel Cormier. Klose expects Gantt to utilize wrestling and has spent his training camp drilling takedown defense to prepare for the matchup.

Klose expressed confidence in securing a stoppage victory and stated his intention to use a physical, “dirty” style to break his opponent. If successful, Klose has expressed interest in a rematch with Beneil Dariush.
