Drama-Amphipoli road project moves forward with provisional contractor
The Drama-Amphipoli vertical axis project in Northern Greece has moved to the next stage following the selection of a provisional contractor. This development follows previous delays caused by legal appeals during the tender process.
Decisions made by the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Christos Dimas, approved the financial offer evaluation protocols for the second phase of the international tender. The project will be implemented through a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) with an estimated budget of approximately €248.5 million, including VAT.
The contract is expected to span up to 30 years, including a three-year construction period followed by operation and maintenance. This project is part of a broader effort to improve road connectivity and safety between major urban centers in Macedonia.
