DramaBox expands in Latin America with new Brazilian and Colombian productions

DramaBox, a microdrama platform, has begun filming a new Brazilian vertical series in São Paulo in partnership with the award-winning Latin American production company Cimarrón. The project is produced by Diego Robino and Lourenço Sant’Anna, whose previous credits include the Oscar-winning film ‘Ainda Estou Aqui’ and Netflix’s ‘The Two Popes’.

The series stars Duda Reis and Flávio Leimig. While specific plot details are limited, the story reportedly follows a woman who marries a stranger, unaware that he is a billionaire linked to her past. This production is part of DramaBox’s strategic expansion in Brazil; the company recently released its first Brazilian original and has additional titles in post-production.

Simultaneously, DramaBox is expanding its presence in Colombia through a partnership with Dos Ke Tres Films. Three Colombian titles, including ‘Mi Barco del Amor Zarpó Sin Ti’, are being rolled out as part of this regional push.
