DRAVIS4 project partners meet in Koprivnica to enhance crisis response
Partners of the DRAVIS4 project held working meetings in Koprivnica on September 16 and 17, 2026, to discuss strengthening regional capacity for crisis management and emergency response.
Representatives from Croatia and Hungary participated in the meetings, including officials from the Hungarian National Association for Emergency Radio Calling and the Baranya and Somogy counties. The project aims to enhance preparedness for forest fires and floods through the procurement of specialized equipment for the Firefighting Community of Koprivnica-Križevci County and the Croatian Mountain Rescue Service (HGSS).
Discussions focused on organizational management, procurement procedures, and the implementation of an Action Plan. The project also explores the use of advanced technologies, such as augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) and modern cameras for the early detection and monitoring of forest fires.
