Drawn Together film stars Ester Expósito and Hugo Diego García

Prime Video has released ‘Drawn Together’, a romantic thriller based on Mercedes Ron’s bestselling novel ‘Enfrentados: Marfil’. The film stars Ester Expósito as Marfil Cortés, the daughter of a Spanish business tycoon, and Hugo Diego García as Sebastian Moore, a bodyguard hired to protect her following a mysterious kidnapping.

The plot follows Marfil after she is abducted in New York’s Central Park and later released without physical injury, though the event serves as a warning from a Russian crime boss named Kozel. The story explores the tension and developing romance between Marfil and her protector, Sebastian, as they navigate the dangers surrounding her father’s past.

Directed by Óscar Pedraza, the film serves as the first installment in a planned duology. While the production emphasizes the chemistry between the leads and features action sequences including boxing, some reviews suggest the film relies heavily on its stars to compensate for a lack of narrative substance.
