Drábské světničky reopens to the public after five years

The Drábské světničky rock castle ruins in the Bohemian Paradise region have reopened to the public following a nearly five-year closure. The site, a national cultural monument, was previously inaccessible due to erosion and vandalism that caused critical damage to the sandstone structures.

A restoration project costing nearly 18 million CZK, fully funded by Lesy České republiky, was implemented to protect the site and ensure visitor safety. The project included stabilizing slopes, repairing erosion-damaged areas, and installing new walkways, stairs, ramps, and railings.

Visitors can access the ruins via established tourist paths from Krásná vyhlídka, Klamorna, or Děbol. The site is located within the Příhrazské skály nature reserve and will now be accessible year-round free of charge.
