Dreadlazer partners with Smirnoff Uganda for Turn Up event

DJ Dreadlazer is hosting the second edition of his ‘Turn Up’ party on 4 September at the Kati Kati Grounds in Kampala. The event is supported by Smirnoff Uganda as part of a partnership aimed at celebrating local creative talent and the evolving role of DJs in shaping Gen Z nightlife.

A mini-party preview was held to launch the partnership, attended by media, influencers, and brand representatives. The upcoming main event is expected to feature high-energy performances from Dreadlazer, alongside DJs Life of the Party and Linus, and MCs Pest and Benjie.

Raymond Karama, Brand Manager at Smirnoff Uganda, stated that the partnership reflects the brand’s commitment to providing platforms for DJs to showcase their creativity through initiatives like the Smirnoff Fiestas. Tickets for the event are priced at Shs35,000 via Quicket and include a complimentary Smirnoff drink.
