Dreadnought announces new album ‘Wars of Spirit // Wards of Light’

Colorado-based progressive metal band Dreadnought has announced the upcoming release of their new album, ‘Wars of Spirit // Wards of Light’. Scheduled for release on September 11 via Vesperian and Metal Blade Records, the album is being previewed by the new single, ‘Color of our Broken Hearts’.

According to the band, the new material represents a more focused and immediate evolution of their sound compared to previous works, while continuing to blend progressive metal, folk, and atmospheric elements. The album's cover art was created by Eisner Award-winning artist Christian Ward, and the recording was mixed by Julius Mauranen and mastered by Jaakko Viitalähde.

Physical editions of the album will include limited digipak CDs, cassettes, and various vinyl versions, such as blue and crimson tri-color nebula and solar gold and cobalt blue splatter editions.
