Dreadnought Resources discovers three gold-bearing trends at Illaara project in Western Australia

Dreadnought Resources (ASX:DRE) reported the identification of three distinct gold‑bearing trends at its Illaara Gold Project in Western Australia. Each trend extends over more than two kilometres along strike and lies within the broader CRA Homestead anomaly, featuring pathfinder elements such as silver, arsenic, bismuth, antimony, tellurium and tungsten. Initial assays from the first 92 wide‑spaced air‑core holes revealed intercepts of 30 m at 0.2 g/t gold from 90 m depth, approximately 800 m along strike from a previous 18 m @ 0.2 g/t intercept.

The drilling campaign comprises up to 500 air‑core holes covering roughly 35 km of drilling, with holes spaced up to 200 m apart on lines 400 m apart. Following the encouraging early results, Dreadnought plans a follow‑up program later this month with tighter drill spacing of 25‑50 m to test all three trends. Results from the Black Oak target and an updated resource estimate are also expected in the coming weeks.
