Dreame announces Aqua20 Pro Ultra steam-cleaning robot vacuum

At IFA, Dreame announced the Aqua20 Pro Ultra Roller X Complete, a robot vacuum cleaner featuring a steam-cleaning system. The device utilizes a steam source in its station that reaches 180°C to help loosen dried dirt through four outlets on the floor. A mop roller then collects the debris using hot water.

Key technical specifications include a suction power of 40,000 Pa and an OmniSight 4.0 obstacle recognition system capable of identifying over 320 types of objects with a 0.1-second response time. To improve edge cleaning, the mop can extend up to 8 centimeters sideways. The device is also capable of traversing height differences of up to 10 centimeters.

While the steam source reaches 180°C, the actual temperature applied to the floor will be lower due to rapid cooling. Experts note that the use of steam requires caution on certain surfaces, such as untreated wood or older laminate, to prevent moisture damage to seams.
