Dreame Technology reportedly sees 10,000 employees depart amid restructuring

Dreame Technology has reportedly undergone significant workforce reductions between June and late August. According to sources including former human resources staff, approximately 10,000 employees have left the company through resignations or layoffs.

Compensation packages for departing staff reportedly range from 0.5N for employees during probation to N+1. The restructuring has heavily impacted specific departments; the AI smart lock business unit has reportedly been dissolved, and the R&D teams within the large home appliance business unit have been largely cut, leaving only core functions such as sales, supply chain, and middle-office roles.

Reports also indicate that some suppliers have visited the company's Suzhou headquarters to demand unpaid dues, with some claiming that relevant R&D and procurement personnel have already departed. In response to recent strategic adjustments, Dreame Technology stated it is focusing its efforts on four main business directions: smart homes, outdoor yards, smart mobility, and embodied intelligence to improve operational efficiency.
