Dreame Technology study highlights pet owners driving smart vacuum demand in Brazil

A consumer perception study conducted by Dreame Technology in Brazil indicates that households with pets are the primary drivers for the expansion of the smart vacuum market. The research shows a structural shift in domestic habits, as consumers increasingly seek to replace traditional cleaning methods, such as using buckets and mops, with automated technology to manage pet hair, mud, and spills.

According to the data, 58% of consumers purchase these devices to permanently replace manual mopping and sweeping tools, while 55% prioritize the convenience of vacuuming and mopping in a single step. Additionally, 38% of respondents focus on the daily removal of pet hair. Beyond technical specifications, the study suggests that the perceived gain of up to 30 minutes of free time per day is a significant motivator for these purchases.
