Drecom announces Steam port of Wizardry VI for 2027

Drecom has announced that a Steam port of ‘Wizardry VI: Bane of the Cosmic Forge’ is scheduled for release in 2027. This version is based on the 1995 Super Famicom port of the original 1990 PC title.

The announcement coincides with the 45th anniversary of the Wizardry series and ‘Wizardry Day’ on September 15. To celebrate, Drecom is launching several initiatives, including the digital release of soundtracks from past titles on platforms such as Apple Music and Spotify.

Additional commemorative activities include the sale of apparel, reproduction art by illustrator Jun Suemi, and a collaboration with the brand BEAMS MANGART. Players of the mobile game ‘Wizardry Variants Daphne’ will also receive in-game items to mark the occasion.
