Drenovci Agricultural Incubator supports regional food production

The Agricultural-Entrepreneurial Incubator (PPI) Drenovci d. o. o. continues to support the development of agriculture and small businesses in the Cvelferija region. Established in September 2016, the project was led by the Municipality of Drenovci and was 99 percent funded by European money, with a total value of 12.5 million kuna.

The incubator provides entrepreneurs with subsidized space rentals, education, consulting, and access to modern production facilities for processing fruits, vegetables, and flour products. Current operations include the production of pasta, jams, and traditional sweets, as well as the processing of fruit and vegetables.

Director Silvijo Hovanjec noted that the number of users is steadily increasing, with growing interest from across the Vukovar-Srijem County. The facility sees particularly high demand for the production and processing of natural apple juice.
