Drenthe foundation recruits volunteers for cardiac arrest response

Stichting Hartveilig Drenthe has launched the ‘Drenthe zoekt Hartlopers’ campaign to recruit new volunteers for cardiac arrest resuscitation. The foundation aims to build a comprehensive network of citizen responders and automated external defibrillators (AEDs) throughout the province to improve survival rates, noting that the first six minutes of a cardiac arrest are critical.

In the municipality of Noordenveld, Welzijn in Noordenveld (WiN) is supporting this initiative by organizing free AED and resuscitation training sessions in collaboration with the local government. The campaign coincides with World Resuscitation Day to highlight the importance of rapid emergency response.
