Dreo TurboCool Misting Fan 516S offers ultrasonic cooling without dampness

The Dreo TurboCool Misting Fan 516S is a three‑in‑one smart home device that combines a high‑speed fan, an ultrasonic nebulizer and a humidifier. Developed by Chinese maker Dreo, which has been the top‑selling fan and heater brand on Amazon US for three consecutive years, the model recently entered the Spanish market after a rollout in the UK and wider Europe.

The fan uses TurboCool Ultra Mist technology to produce micro‑droplets around 11 µm in size. These droplets evaporate almost instantly, delivering a cooling effect without leaving visible moisture on surfaces or in the air. It houses a 1.3‑litre water tank that can be refilled directly from the tap, and features a tactile control panel, remote control, RGB humidity indicator, six fan speed levels, three mist levels, adjustable vertical tilt and up to 150° of horizontal oscillation.

Maintenance requires periodic cleaning of the water reservoir to prevent bacterial growth. The product is positioned as a middle ground between conventional fans and energy‑intensive air conditioners, offering low‑power cooling for indoor spaces.
