Dresden Autumn Market to feature 70 vendors at Altmarkt

The Dresden Autumn Market (Herbstmarkt) is scheduled to take place at the Altmarkt from September 11 to October 4, 2026. The event will feature approximately 70 vendors offering handicrafts, regional products, and seasonal specialties.

Economic Mayor Jan Pratzka is set to officially open the market on September 12 with a traditional keg tapping ceremony. This year's event introduces two newcomer stalls, providing emerging merchants with free opportunities to present their products, such as wood decorations, candles, and jewelry, to a wide audience.

In addition to shopping, the market will include beer and wine gardens, live music on weekends, a historical Ferris wheel, a children's carousel, and a historical children's railway.
