Dresden emergency services respond to multiple incidents including major vehicle fire

The Dresden Fire Department responded to a high volume of emergency calls over a single night, including 36 fire department operations and 219 emergency medical services alerts.

A major incident occurred in Dresden-Cossebaude, where a parked Porsche and a truck tractor caught fire. The intense heat from the blaze damaged an adjacent metalworking company building, breaking several windows, though the fire was prevented from spreading to the structure. Emergency crews used hydraulic tools to access remaining embers within the vehicles. Police have launched an investigation into the cause of the fire.

Additionally, the department responded to smoke development in an allotment garden area in Dresden-Friedrichstadt.
