Dresden Roman Bath receives renovation funds from local donations
The Roman Bath in the park of Albrechtsberg Castle in Dresden is receiving financial support for its renovation. Oscar Bruch, the operator of the Ferris wheel at the city festival, donated 5,000 euros to the city, which was accepted by Building Mayor Stephan Kühn.
Additional funds are being generated through the Canaletto City Festival in Dresden. A souvenir campaign involving the sale of a limited edition of 3,000 ‘zero-euro notes’ featuring the festival stage and fireworks has raised significant money. While the exact total from these sales is still being calculated, it is expected to be a four- or five-figure sum. Furthermore, signed versions of these souvenir notes by various musical acts, including the bands Juli, Gestört aber GeiL, Cora, and 01099, are scheduled to be auctioned on eBay to provide further financial assistance for the restoration project.
